Acting United States Secretary of State John Sullivan met with officials from five Caribbean nations during the recent Summit of the Americas held in Lima, Peru. Sullivan was sworn in as Deputy Secretary of State last year and has been Acting Secretary of State since April 1, 2018.
United States pork will soon be exported to Argentina for the first time in more than 25 years. The Office of the Trade Representative believes that Argentina could be a $10 million market for US pork producers. The US is the largest pork exporter in the world with $6.5 billion exported in 2017.
