Unemployment Rate in Brazil Rose Slightly in January

The unemployment rate in Brazil rose slightly to 11.2% in January while still beating expectations, reports Reuters.

Unemployment in Brazil has been on the decline. In 2019 the unemployment rate was lower in every quarter compared to the same period in 2018.

Unemployment has remained above 11% for four years as Brazil struggled with the one of the greatest economic depression in its history.
